National Harbor

Everyday with my three kids is an adventure, but I really enjoy taking them out to explore this wonderful world. I think venturing out is for me more so than the kids, but who said it always has to be about them. They enjoy the outdoors and my oldest is always asking, “Where are we going today, mommy?” as soon as she opens her eyes. Sometimes even before saying good morning. Lol

About two weeks ago, we visited the National Harbor for a little play date. Most families don’t frequent this part of the harbor; it’s my fave place to let the kids roam.

People are always amazed that I’m out by myself exploring with these three little ones, but truth be told, I live for it. I enjoy making memories with them and they are great babies, very well-behaved; and like I said, they enjoy being out discovering new things.

It was a lovely day out before the skies opened up on us. You should have seen me trying to push the stroller up the hill while running at full speed trying not to get wet…an impossible feat. We waited out much of the rain in one of the hotel lobbies. Special thanks to the young man who walked us to our car, even though by the time I got all three buckled in I was wet. Just like clockwork it was clear blue skies five minutes later, but we were treated with a rainbow.

What’s your favorite place to hang out with your kids?
