Are you like me and hate the cold? I mean REALLY hate the cold?

Do you cringe at the thought of going outside in winter? Well, if it was up to me, we would be living right by the beach, but for now the military dictates where we live, which currently is on the East Coast. Unfortunately, my kids don’t feel the same, especially my oldest who responds to me telling her it’s cold by saying “I can put on a coat mommy.”

Are the kids constantly begging you to take them somewhere? I know my kids do. It’s the first thing on their little minds when they wake up. Even the twins are joining in on the fun. They often grab their coats and shoes and say GO, GO!

So where should you go?

The Richmond Children’s Museum (the downtown Richmond VA location), is a great place. There’s plenty to do to keep your little ones busy.  They can ride the carousel (nominal fee), challenge their inner Picasso, be a mechanic, pretend to be at school, go down the slide. The list goes on. There’s even a farm area just for the younger ones. Just be prepared for them not wanting to leave even after being there for several hours!

Go. It will be good for the both of you and they’ll love you for it 🙂 I hear it will be in the 60’s.
