What’s a birthday party without a photo shoot?

For me and my kiddos….well, for me an incomplete party is what it is. My kids probably wouldn’t mind one bit if I put the camera down. We all know that will never happen. They will thank me later when they have all these memories to share with those they love. OMG! I sound like my MIL! She would take pics of the hubby and I all the time, it didn’t matter what time of day it was!

Anyways, the twins were taking an early afternoon nap so I thanked God and headed outside with all my props and my little muse.

These photos may look like she was thrilled to do this but that is the furthest thing from the truth.

How she truly felt 😆

She actually told me she didn’t want to be a princess nor did she want to take photos…the audacity. Good thing she’s not the parent in this relationship. At times, she has run the show but not when it comes to my photo sessions.

I’m learning to be patient and take what she gives me because she has more fun and I get better photos. If that doesn’t work then just bribe them like I did. Oh the power of being able to ride your new bike.

This shoot was a lot of fun, but it just seems like the photos lacked something….a castle.
