Mother’s Day isn’t until tomorrow, but with expected rain all day, the family and I headed to Maymont Park in Richmond, Virginia.

After a short ten minute drive, we pulled up but never had a chance to make it inside. I literally had my hand on big girl’s seat belt when the river in her tummy errupted and all the yummy goodness from within flowed EVERYWHERE 👀👀

Guess we are imposing the no milk in the car policy once again. I was very disappointed as we drove back to hubby’s childhood home to get her and the car cleaned up. After a glass of wine I adjusted my perspective and relaxed with the kids in the backyard.

Here’s some of the memories we created.

So much has changed in a year. We are blessed.
